A bilingual (Spanish-English) attorney with 1-3 years of experience is sought to handle humanitarian immigration cases, including Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, U visas and political asylum. The attorney will appear to the New York Immigration Court and Asylum Office, and the Nassau and Suffolk County Family Courts for SIJS hearings, write briefs and legal memoranda, and perform legal research.
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Admission to any state in the US (NY is a plus.)
- Excellent writing and research skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
